No doodling or thumbnails will lead to a very frustrating drawing.
You haven't worked all the kinks out in the idea phase, so endless erasing and redrawing are where you'll end up.
Which can take all the joy out of the process.
So doodle, fart around, don't be afraid to waste paper.
Or do you think your sketchbook should have only pretty, perfect drawings in it?
Its a sketchbook, it automatically should show a Work in Progress.
A great idea, or just a little something-something, you one offed, and forgot about.
Either way it's a visual record of your creative process.
And hones your skills, and disciples your mindset.
So you wont feel so frustrated and limited.
In the end you replace Stumbling Blocks with Building Blocks.
And the creative process flows better.
